LedgerGuard QuickBooks Integration Privacy Policy
How Steel Beam handles information used by its limited, internal QuickBooks Online integration.
Effective date: August 9, 2026
This policy describes the current intended use of the LedgerGuard QuickBooks Online integration operated by Steel Beam Contractor Solutions LLC ("Steel Beam"). The integration is limited to Steel Beam's own QuickBooks Online company; it is not a client-company or multi-tenant product.
Information involved
This public website may receive contact information that you choose to send through a form or email. The website uses service providers to host and operate the website, support website analytics, and process form submissions. When the internal QuickBooks Online integration is authorized, it may handle the authorization material needed to maintain or revoke the connection and the restricted, read-only accounting information returned through the integration's fixed QuickBooks Online functions.
How Steel Beam uses it
Steel Beam uses this information to respond to inquiries, support its internal bookkeeping and financial-review work, maintain the authorized connection, confirm that it remains limited to the intended company, and investigate or prevent misuse. The integration is designed to keep operational audit records free of raw QuickBooks accounting values.
Read-only access and disclosures
The integration is designed for read-only access. It does not create or change QuickBooks Online records. Steel Beam does not sell customer data. Information may be disclosed or processed only as reasonably necessary to operate or provide the service through service providers, comply with law, protect rights or security, or at a customer's direction or with a customer's consent.
Security practices
Authorization material is handled through local integration configuration and connection records rather than published on this website. Steel Beam uses access controls and review steps intended to limit the integration to its approved, internal purpose. Never send credentials, authorization codes, or accounting records through this public website.
Retention, disconnection, and deletion
Steel Beam retains information only as long as reasonably necessary for service operation, legal, accounting, or security obligations, dispute resolution, and agreement enforcement. When information is no longer required, Steel Beam will securely delete or de-identify it. A successful authorized disconnection and revocation workflow invalidates the active QuickBooks authorization and removes the active and pending local authorization material for that connection. Information independently held by Intuit remains subject to Intuit's own practices.
Questions and updates
To ask a question about this policy, contact support@steel-beam.org. Steel Beam may update this policy as the integration changes. The original effective date is August 9, 2026; an updated version will identify its publication or revision date.
